What are your opening hours?

Golden Coast is open for business from 08.00 to 17.30 during the summer months (end of February to November) and 08.30 to 17.00 during the winter (November to end of February).

How long has Golden Coast been in business?

Golden Coast has been trading since 1977, today we are the only independent, family owned distribution business operating in the UK Wet Leisure Industry.

How do I open an account?

We welcome new trade accounts. There is no minimum order value on your first or subsequent orders.

Can I trade with you on a cash with order basis?

We welcome all bona fide trade businesses, please complete the trade account application form here to ensure you benefit from any relevant discounts.

Do you have a minimum order value?

We have no minimum order value, you can order as little as you like without any penalty.

To qualify for free delivery on Golden Coast transport you will need to place an order with a minimum, pre VAT value of £790

Please be aware that as a trade wholesaler some products such as water treatment products and pool toys are only available in multi pack quantities.

What discount will I receive if I open an account?

Your discount will be determined by a number of factors including the details provided on your account application form and from discussion with the sales team.

What are your payment terms?

If you have an account with Golden Coast then you will have been provided with details of your trading terms in the Welcome Pack supplied to you, or on our notifying you of your new account status.

If you do not have an account then we will not be able to provide details of payment terms until you make an application for either a full or a cash with order account. Alternatively you can call our offices on 01271 378100 and ask to speak to a member of the team who will be happy to discuss this with you.

What are your delivery charges?

You can view a full list of delivery charges on page 7 of our 2011 Product Catalogue.

Free delivery on Golden Coast transport is available on orders with a minimum net trade value in excess of £790 excluding VAT and for delivery to your account addresses in the UK mainland.

What are your trading Terms and Conditions

What are your delivery options? / Can I get a next day delivery?

Dependent on the type of product ordered we offer a variety of delivery options ranging from Next Day Timed to delivery on our own vehicles.

Can I collect my order?

Yes provided it is during our normal working hours.

You are welcome to come and place your order at our trade desk or phone it through beforehand, which would be advisable, as the distribution team will ensure your goods are waiting for you when you arrive.

For large, bulky collections you can call us for advice on weights and dimensions to ensure you have a collection vehicle suitable for you needs.

Can you deliver overseas?

Yes, we supply a growing number of international customers and would be very happy to discuss helping get your orders delivered anywhere in the world.

What day do your vehicles deliver in my area?

Golden Coast vehicles deliver across a wide section of the country with some areas covered twice a week.

What is your returns policy?

Our returns policy has been designed to make the process run as smoothly as possible for you.

Do you sell to the public?

No, Golden Coast is a distribution company that only deals with the wet leisure trade and associated industries.

What happens if you don’t stock the items I want to buy?

More often than not we will arrange to get the products in especially for you and if demand increases then we will look at permanently holding the item in stock.

What do the icons in your Product Catalogue mean?

There is a small number of useful icons displayed throughout our Product Catalogue, each designed to help making ordering easier:

  • Lorry icon – Delivery charges apply on this product
  • Hazard icon – Not guaranteed for next day delivery on this product
  • NEW icon – New product for this season
  • £ and Scissor icon – Volume price break available on this product

Why do I have to order some products in box quantities?

Items such as water treatment products and chemicals are subject to strict regulations for handling and transport and can therefore only be shipped in UN approved packaging / boxes.

Why do I have to pay a deposit on special order products?

Ordering a special product is a bit like having a new tailor made suit. As it is being specially made to fit your exact measurements a lot of extra work goes into its production and the end result is guaranteed to fit you and no one else. As a result manufacturers ask us for a deposit on these items.

Do you offer marketing support?

Yes, all Golden Coast trade customers benefit from our marketing knowledge and support. We can help create professional company brochures, advertisements, flyers, press releases and sales letters.

Yes, all Golden Coast trade customers benefit from a range of training options.

We are happy to arrange for one to one training, or if you would like to arrange for a group or colleagues to visit, we can put together a training session to meet their individual needs.

What warranty / guarantee do you offer on the products you sell?

Every product sold is covered by some sort of manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee.

I received my order today, but not all the chemicals have been delivered?

Carriers are occasionally required to split chemical deliveries and hazardous items, as such it could take up to 5 days to receive the full delivery.
